The time has come for DUEL SEASON 5! Rouse those Heroes off their bed of pillows, strap on their armors, and enter the Duel arena because this means Warr! As with previous seasons, we're introducing an exciting new feature to keep your merry band of Heroes on their collective toes. Champion Mode In Champion mode, players can topple one another in an all-out competition for dominance. To participate, players must reach a specified score and win streak for the match type they want to challenge. If there is no current champion, the first to reach these thresholds will become the new Champion automatically. Otherwise, a player may initiate a Challenge match to topple the current Champion. If a player successfully defeats the current Champion, they become the new Champion. Champions earn 5% of Duel Power Token profits and 50% of fees generated through Champion Challenge Duels for that match type. The Champion will be able to view and claim their balance in the Duel Rewards screen. In addition, there is a Champion Bounty which increases over time by collecting a percentage of Power Token profits from Duels. Once a Champion is defeated, the new winner will get the current bounty for that match type. Once a Hero or group of Heroes is dethroned, they must wait 72 hours before they can participate in another challenge.
