As many of you have seen, and the rest will see, MetaMask has put out a new update. This update unfortunately has several impacts on our user experience, particularly around things that are currently set up to create multiple transactions, as MetaMask, with this update, no longer allows multiple simultaneous transactions.
First and foremost, we want to address that we recognize the hit to quality of life this causes, and we are not satisfied with it either. In the meantime, we are going to make some changes so that everything at least does work and processes properly.
Impacted Features:
- Multi-Quest on Klaytn
- Pet Treat Ingredient Approvals
- Pet Treat Crafting
- Multi-Equipping
- Multi-Feeding
- Multi-Incubating
- Multi-Hatching
- Gene Re-Rolling on Heroes
- Gathering Skill Reveal on Pets
- Running a transaction while another is still pending
To elaborate on that last one, yes, with this MetaMask update, trying to start a new transaction while another is still pending is causing issues. You’ll need to wait for the first transaction to finish processing before submitting another.
This was not a change that we were aware of ahead of time. We will be pushing an update to remove the above “multi’s” in order to not have players running into failed transactions and weird behaviors. We are reaching out to MetaMask to inquire if this was an intentional change. We will keep you all updated as we learn more.
