Now without further adieu: MULTI-LEVELING That's right, you can now head over to the Meditation Circle and queue up multiple Heroes for both starting and completing leveling transactions! Select a Hero, select their stats and any Attunement crystals, and add them to the queue. When you're ready, start all your Hero levels in one fell swoop! After waiting for a brief time, complete all your Hero leveling at once and paginate through to see their results. It's a regular leveling revolution! Now you're ready to really get out there and start leveling! Thanks again for all your support and excitement during this birthday week! We are excited to announce a new partnership with Singularity! Singularity is a payments solution for AppChains and Rollups, allowing for easy fiat to crypto conversions!

The time has come for DUEL SEASON 5! Rouse those Heroes off their bed of pillows, strap on their armors, and enter the Duel arena because this means Warr! As with previous seasons, we're introducing an exciting new feature to keep your merry band of Heroes on their collective toes. Champion Mode In Champion mode, players can topple one another in an all-out competition for dominance. To participate, players must reach a specified score and win streak for the match type they want to challenge. If there is no current champion, the first to reach these thresholds will become the new Champion automatically. Otherwise, a player may initiate a Challenge match to topple the current Champion. If a player successfully defeats the current Champion, they become the new Champion. Champions earn 5% of Duel Power Token profits and 50% of fees generated through Champion Challenge Duels for that match type. The Champion will be able to view and claim their balance in the Duel Rewards screen. In addition, there is a Champion Bounty which increases over time by collecting a percentage of Power Token profits from Duels. Once a Champion is defeated, the new winner will get the current bounty for that match type. Once a Hero or group of Heroes is dethroned, they must wait 72 hours before they can participate in another challenge. Check out our Medium article for additional details on this exciting new mode:

@everyone in prep for Duel Season 5, we will be doing Hero bridge maintenance and pausing the bridge. We will be beginning the maintenance at 1pm EDT (8 minutes) and we expect it to be complete by 3pm EDT!

During routine maintenance, I inadvertently introduced outdated data into the current API state. Please rest assured that no heroes has been impacted. The issue at hand is purely visual in nature and is expected to be fully resolved within the next couple of hours. Your patience is greatly appreciated as we work to rectify this situation.

Good release day, Kingdom! As a continuation of our efforts to make DeFi Kingdoms more accessible to new and current players alike, we're excited to introduce some additional quality of life improvements that should do just that. Check them out! Wallet-less Game Access For as long as DeFi Kingdoms has been around (almost two years but who's counting), it's been locked behind a requirement to connect or create a wallet first. But no longer! Instead, players can view and explore the full realm of Crystalvale, browse the Pet and Hero taverns, and get a sense for how the game looks and feels before committing to wallet creation and connection. Any features that normally require wallet connectivity will prompt the user to create or connect their wallet. This should help quite a bit with our efforts to simplify the onboarding and acquisition process for new players, including linking from our marketing materials straight into the appropriate features, allowing cursory mobile browser access, and browsing for NFT purchases prior to connection. We're stoked to have this in place to accommodate all the upcoming and exciting new features that will take advantage of this functionality. Power-Up Hero Management In an effort to improve Hero management for the Power-Up system, we've added the following quality of life improvements: API updates that will improve tracking between realms in order to maintain transferred Hero statuses. Clearer callouts for transferred Heroes and a simplified method for removing transferred Heroes through a new Remove All button. Allow users to remove transferred Heroes from Power-Ups that were originally activated by their previous owners. Add a Remove All button for Heroes when cancelling Power-Ups. Improved user experience when subscribing to Power-Ups after previously emergency withdrawing with Power-Ups still active. Improved user experience when withdrawing from the Jeweler without first cancelling Power-Ups. These additions should hopefully further simplify the process for managing Heroes via the Power-Up system. Duels Season 5 continues to progress and we're excited about the new features that will accompany that release when it's ready. Our dev and QA teams are hard at work making sure everything functions as expected. Thanks again for your support, patience, and for being an awesome community! Quick note, we'd been seeing issues connecting to DFKChain with the POKT RPC. The RPC URL had a small change in it. The Matoya command has been updated !dfkc-rpc and you can find it here in their docs as well.

You can update the network settings by going to "Add Network" in the MetaMask extension, which will open the MetaMask site, and then select "Networks" and the one you want to edit, changing the RPC URL. Also, don't forget to tune into our AMA in 45 minutes!

Hello everyone! We discovered two small bugs in the Bazaar, both of which have now been corrected! First, during the editing of orders, there was a fringe case where the price could be taken in WEI (a fraction of JEWEL, rather than JEWEL itself). This has been resolved and the only case we have seen has been addressed. If you believe you’ve been impacted (received less JEWEL than expected for selling an item), please reach out to an admin! Second, the Master Merchant Power-Up was applying Tier 2 as an individual 0.4% discount, rather than a cumulative 0.5% discount, meaning those with the Tier 2 Power-Up did not get their full discount. This has also been resolved. There are 31 wallets impacted on a total of 117 orders. For any orders that have been fulfilled or get fulfilled by Friday, August 4th at 11:59PM EDT with the incorrect discount, we will be airdropping a refund of the 0.1% difference. If you have the Tier 2 Master Merchant Power-Up and have open buy or sell orders, we recommend cancelling and re-posting them in order to have the correct discount applied. Orders with the incorrect discount fulfilled after Friday, August 4th 11:59PM EDT will not be refunded. We are glad to see the wonderful reception the Bazaar has received so far and, as always, thank you for your patience and support!

@everyone ## A bazaar? How bizarre! It's time -- the Bazaar is now live in Crystalvale! Head over to the Marketplace and speak with Rahim Hassan and his trusty pack-boc, Rodney M. Carrington, and start peddling your wares. The Bazaar offers an alternative way to trade, using an order book that eliminates slippage and price impact, making it a breeze to trade rare and low liquidity items at the price point of your choosing. Create buy and sell orders for any ERC-20 or ERC-1155 token, which will be filled immediately when able, or placed on the order book for fulfillment later. The Bazaar uses JEWEL as the common currency for trading. Are you someone who knows what you want and you want it now? If so, you can place a Market Order for an item, and trade the specified quantity at the best price available from open orders. And if you’re someone who is looking for a deal, you can place a Limit Order by setting the price at which you wish to buy or sell an item and the Bazaar will only transact at that price or better. Both buy and sell orders have a 1.5% fee associated with them, paid in JEWEL. When placing a buy order, the fee is placed in escrow until the order is either filled or canceled and refunded. On a sell order, the fee is deducted from the funds sent to the seller when the order is filled. ## Master Merchant Power-Up Bazaar trading fees can be reduced by the new Master Merchant Power-Up. This two-tiered Power-Up allows players who love to work the trading block to allocate either 500 or 5000 c/sJEWEL to receive a 0.1%–0.5% reduction on both their buying and selling fees. - Tier 1: 500 c/sJEWEL — 0.1% fee reduction - Tier 2: 5000 c/sJEWEL — 0.5% fee reduction

Hello Everyone We want to reiterate a couple of updates that we mentioned in the AMA this afternoon: 1.The Standard Distributions of CRYSTAL and JADE have been updated to reflect the greater burn amount that we announced last week. The new standard distribution of CRYSTAL and JADE is now: 25% burn, 15% Jeweler, 30% Quest Fund, 30% Dev Fund. This is a 20% increase to burn that has come solely from the Dev Fund portion. 2.A bug was identified with the Power-Up system wherein there were rare instances that a user was able to add more than 6 Heroes to a single Power-Up Tier. This issue has been resolved, but required manual correction of those who were impacted, by removing any excess Heroes from Power-Ups. 3.Please check your Power-Up Hero assignments, and update your tier settings and re-assign your Heroes as necessary. There were about 40 wallets impacted. This Power-Up issue is also connected to a tracking issue that has caused some players to be unable to un-assign Heroes and cancel their Power-Ups correctly. We will be working to fix that issue now that the first is corrected.

Additional Features and bug fixes: But wait there's more! And I'm going to put them in bullet points because there's a lot of them: Improved timing and VFX where applicable for most abilities, especially defined skills from the first three classes. Updated graphics for active hero indicator and enemy target indicator. Improvements to the battle log to show accurate and standardized damage indicators, clear labels. Add base, scalable weapons and armors for all classes. Lock down abilities when mana depleted. Fix an issue where Priests could over-heal blubs and Heroes. Fix missing pop-up text issues. Additional misc bug fixes, tweaks, and improvements. Upcoming Features As mentioned in the AMA, we are still working through some final updates for the Bazaar and hope to have a final release candidate ready to go by next week but we will keep you posted on progress. In addition, Season 5 of DFK Duel will be delayed a little longer than normal in order to add an exciting new feature. Stay tuned! A friendly reminder that anything and everything in the Combat Testing Grounds is subject to change now and in the future.
